PEAK TRACK MEETS
Winter + Summer

It’s about time we got more track meets. Lakewood and Golden communities need more opportunities to race.  We’ve partnered with Runners Roost Lakewood and Nike to create winter and summer track meets.

These meets are all-comers so it’s not just limited to high school and middle school runners. Athletes ages 6+ are welcome to compete. Adults and kids race together based on ability. We’ll break athletes out by speed to create fun, competitive races everyone can get behind.

Feel like you’re going to put down a fast race? Make sure it counts! We’re working with Colorado Elite Timing to make sure you have a FAT (fully automated timing) time to go on your MileSplit profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: What time will I race?

Answer: Races start at 9am and will be run on a rolling schedule of fastest heats to slowest. We announce the order of events about a week before the race so you can estimate your race time but we highly encourage athletes arrive by 8:30am to warm up and watch other athletes compete.  This will guarantee you won't miss your start time.

Question: Can I register at the race?

Answer: Yes, you can register at the race but it is easier on our timer if you pre-register so we can assign heats appropriately. If you want to ensure you are in a fast heat it is best if you register ahead of time and add a seed time. If registering day of we accept $30 cash, check or payment through Venmo.

Question: Will athletes be broken out by gender?

Answer: We try to break out the races by gender where possible. The number of registrants determines how we run the race to try to make it efficient as possible. There is a possibility it could be a combined heat.
