SPRINT PROGRAM

PEAK SPEED

Our sprint program involves three attributes: Resilience | Speed | Teamwork

We believe that these attributes create sprinters that understand the basics and embody the PEAK ethos. PEAK SPEED athletes are culture driven and understand that they own the process of bringing out the best in each other every single day. SPEED is built on the foundation of functional movement and proper mechanics.

Head Sprint Coach, Matthew Bacchus, believes that the best sprinters do not exist in a vacuum - they are built by dedicated teammates and tested every day.

Resilience

Resilience is taught through every rep and every set when you think you’re at the end of yourself.

Speed

Speed is built through drills and mechanics, proper form adjustments, and personal coaching.

Teamwork

Teamwork is built on the sidelines, start lines, and finish lines. Team work is at the core of our culture - together we get better. We show up every day for the betterment of our team and teammates.

SPEED Summer 2024 Program

This summer we will be focusing on getting back to the basics of sprint form as well as building off from where we left off finishing the school outdoor season. Summer track is a great way to strengthen your sprint mechanics and improve your times with people who challenge and support you.

What’s Included for both groups:

  • Team Accountability- 4 coached practices per week (3 track, 1 strength)-We meet early to avoid the heat and afternoon storms.
