What sets Peak Elite apart
Being a small team means we can operate and connect in ways larger teams can’t. Peak Elite has a monthly team dinner where we connect as a small group and do activities: character building exercises, team building, and leadership discussions. These discussions are a deeper dive into personal development with topics surrounding: sports psychology, performance anxiety, character development and how to be a leader on your team. Peak Elite is focused on creating great leaders from the front of the pack on race day, in the classroom, and their High School teams. Peak Elite represents the best athletes in the Peak Performance Running program that stand out for strong fitness and character.

Peak Elite represents the highest level team at Peak Performance Running. Peak Elite was born out of the need that existed to serve athletes that have the ability to consistently show their skills at the highest level from the Colorado State Meet to Nike Outdoor Nationals and Team USA for Mountain Running. Peak Elite is a small group of athletes who have met a physical time standard and strive to represent the culture of Peak Performance Running.
The structure of Peak Elite is designed so that Peak Elite athletes are still practicing and engaging with the full HS program on a weekly basis. While Peak Elite follows a slightly different schedule than the HS team there is plenty of overlap so athletes can remain connected, motivated, and entrenched in the team culture.
